Frequently asked questions

Weddings come with a lot of questions. Luckily, we have all the answers.

What payment plans do you offer?

Typically our customers either pay half down, half two weeks before the wedding date. Or, we also offer equal monthly payments leading up to the wedding.

What is your refund policy?

50% of the total is considered a non-refundable deposit in order to hold your date. Any amount paid over 50% will be refundable upon cancellation prior to the wedding date.

Do you have any discounts?

We run occasional promotions. Please schedule a consultation with our studio manager to find out more.

Do you charge for travel?

For weddings within 30 miles of Austin and San Antonio, or within the five boroughs of NYC, there is no travel fee. For weddings between 30-90 miles away, a small travel fee may include nominal costs for gas, tolls, mileage, lodging, etc.

Weddings farther than 90 miles from our main metros (Austin, San Antonio, and NYC) will require a custom travel fee. Please inquire for more info.

Should I tip?

Tips are always appreciated but not required. All tips will be distributed to the team capturing the wedding day and not retained by Double Knot.
