Alex Quetzali
Long before I photographed weddings, I found joy in documenting my own life through scenes of ordinary days. No matter how much time passes or how insignificant life may have felt at the time, there’s something special about having a record of the life you've lived and the people you've shared it with. Those memories are worth revisiting years later, and one day, worth passing down to the people you love.
That perspective naturally shaped the way I approach wedding photography. Since 2018, I’ve photographed weddings with a documentary mindset, drawn to honest emotion more than anything overly posed or performative. I’m inspired by movement, atmosphere, human connection, and the in-between moments that often go unnoticed.
At the end of the day, I care less about creating something overly curated and more about making photographs that feel authentic and lasting. Images that can be revisited, shared, and appreciated for generations.
