1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Double Knot Pictures website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Double Knot Pictures LLC provides and manages wedding photography and videography services. Photographers, videographers, and other creatives who provide event coverage do so through Double Knot Pictures as independent contractors. Double Knot Pictures manages the booking, payment schedule, communications, coverage, and delivery process for the client.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Bookings and Payments

Each booking is governed by the booking-specific Wedding Media Agreement presented during checkout. That agreement identifies the event details, selected or assigned creative team, services, pricing, payment schedule, cancellation and rescheduling terms, and any booking-specific provisions.

• The client contracts with Double Knot Pictures LLC, not separately with the selected or assigned photographer or videographer
• The complete Wedding Media Agreement is available for review and electronic signature before the payment step
• The deposit is collected only after the agreement has been signed
• A booking is confirmed only after Double Knot Pictures receives both the signed agreement and the required deposit
• No separate contract with the selected or assigned photographer or videographer is required

5. Photographer/Videographer Terms

Photographers and videographers engaged by Double Knot Pictures agree to:

• Maintain professional standards and conduct
• Honor accepted assignments and promptly communicate any availability change to Double Knot Pictures
• Provide event coverage according to the booking details managed by Double Knot Pictures
• Maintain appropriate insurance and business licenses
• Follow Double Knot Pictures' service, communication, and media-handling requirements

6. Intellectual Property

Copyright ownership and usage rights for photos and videos are stated in the booking-specific Wedding Media Agreement between the client and Double Knot Pictures. If these Terms of Service and an accepted Wedding Media Agreement conflict on those rights, the accepted Wedding Media Agreement controls for that booking.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm another user
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
• Post false or misleading information
• Interfere with the operation of the platform

8. Limitation of Liability

The responsibilities of Double Knot Pictures, the limits of liability, and the remedies available for a specific booking are stated in the accepted Wedding Media Agreement and governed by applicable law.

9. Dispute Resolution

Questions, concerns, or disputes about a booking or a member of the creative team should be directed to Double Knot Pictures. We will work directly with the client and the creative team to address the matter under the accepted Wedding Media Agreement.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting an update on our website. Changes to these website terms do not retroactively replace the booking-specific Wedding Media Agreement previously accepted by a client.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. The governing law for a specific booking is stated in its accepted Wedding Media Agreement.

12. SMS/Text Messaging

By opting in to SMS messages from Double Knot Pictures, you agree to receive text messages related to our services. These messages may include:

• Booking confirmations and updates
• Payment reminders and receipts
• Contract signing reminders
• Wedding day logistics and questionnaire reminders
• Promotional messages and special offers (for leads who opt in)
• Vendor job assignments and scheduling updates

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 10 messages per month depending on your account activity and booking status.

Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also manage your SMS preferences in your account settings. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. You may use our services without opting in to text messages.
