With Fredericksburg as the backdrop, Carla and Drew’s day had all the makings for a traditional hill country wedding. But, the couple’s peppered-in personal touches really made the day their own. The couple put out NASA patches for guests to take home (no big deal: Drew was on the SpaceX team) and a whole lot of copper mugs for Moscow mules (the couple’s favorite). A confetti cannon hung out in the corner on standby. We found out later, the cannon’s dance floor cue was a certain verse of “Despacito”.After hours of pasta, sweet treats, toasts, dancing, and confetti-galore, the couple ran through a cheering line of sparklers to their getaway car. They didn’t get far, though. They stopped up the hill at their cottage for a late-night party catered by Whataburger and Pizza Hut.
