Aaron shot Double Knot Picture's very first wedding back in 2013, and he's been creating some of our finest videos ever since. He and the owner, Adam, met in cinematography class at the University of Texas at Austin, and they've collaborated across a range of narrative films, editorial, commercial, fashion, portraiture, and much more.

A consumnate practicitioner, Aaron uses the latest camera and lens technology paired with a unique eye for framing and detail to create his candid and beautiful wedding films. He brings his experience with hundreds of weddings to each event, yet never stops seeking new frames and novel ways to tell the story. When filming, he uses a kind, low-key approach so as to capture the most genuine moments and interactions without interference, creating a vital record of real emotions captured with an eye for style.

Outside of weddings, Aaron is currently earning a degree in visual effects with a specialty in digital environments, and, more importantly, patronizing Austin's many craft breweries.
