When asked why he shoots weddings, Steven put it very simply: "Weddings are beautiful." Sharing something so special with a couple, surrounded by beautiful scenery and venues, and witnessing two people fall in love surrounded by happiness and support is always a pleasure for him.

When not shooting weddings, Steven acts as a cinematographer in the fashion and music video world, which informs his creative framing and technical perfectionism. He approaches each weddings as a collaboration and is very comfortable playing with different styles, so never hesitate to let him know your tastes and preferences for your wedding video.

Victor is a seasoned photographer with over 12 years of expertise in the field. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, specializing in photography, Victor has cultivated a keen eye for detail and a passion for capturing life's most precious moments.

Specializing in wedding photography, Victor finds immense joy in immortalizing the magic of couples' special days. There's a particular thrill in freezing that fleeting moment when the groom first lays eyes on the bride, and victor takes pride in ensuring that every nuance of that emotion is beautifully preserved in each photograph.

Beyond the lens, Victor has a diverse range of interests. He has a deep appreciation for sports, art, and travel, seeking inspiration from the world around him.

After falling in love with film as a teen, Ryan attended UC Santa Barbara, studying Film and Media Studies. He may have graduated, but he never stops learning, always watching films and staying busy crafting music videos, commercials, and other events to keep his skills sharp and expand his base of knowledge and inspiration.

He loves being in the creative zone and the continuous creative problem-solving required to capture a wedding in the most beautiful way possible. He strives to be a friendly, calming presence on a hectic day, cracking jokes and chit chatting when appropriate, melding into the background when needed. In each moment he assesses the potential for beauty, style, and story and all the myriad considerations of image making — framing, light, line, focus, color — to best portray each couple’s wedding narrative.

He encourages each couple to provide as much input into the process of crafting the wedding video as possible. He wants his clients to feel heard, and for them to be reassured that he is going to capture what they envisioned.

Outside of his film work, he loves yoga and pilates, practices that help him stay present and agile for long wedding days.

Marshall has been capturing photo and video day in, day out since graduating from the University of Texas Radio-Television-Film program in 2014. He has been capturing wedding memories for Double Knot Pictures since then. Marshall is a consistently kind and calm presence, essential qualities on wedding days that often come with a lot of stress. In his words, he likes to "slip into the background and let people be themselves."

His widely varied experience -- he has also worked on documentaries, commercials, music videos, and narrative films -- provides him the versatility to tackle the many different challenges hectic wedding days present.

When not filming, Marshall enjoys watching films for inspiration, board games (Catan, anyone?), tennis, and basketball.

Sarah is a true local Austinite, born and raised, and she brings immense passion and skill in capturing photography of the city she loves and the people within it. She gravitated to weddings early in her photography career as it gave her a chance to experience the authentic connections between the couples with which she collaborates.

When not photographing weddings, she devotes her time to her daughter, Emma (her most frequent photo model), and making every effort to have as much fun as possible in her home city. She brings a lot of laughs and genuineness to every interaction, so anyone booking with her should be prepared to have a good time.

Born in the United States to Italian immigrant parents, Robert moved as a child to Italy and grew up in the hilly town of Celano. As a young adult, Robert permanently moved back to the US to become a photographer.

He studied photography at the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology where he received a BFA in Commercial Photography. After completing his studies he moved to New York City and started a long working relationship with acclaimed American photographer Deborah Turbeville (1932 –2013) and extensively traveled with her for photoshoots around the world. He also worked for a number of years with Mary Ellen Mark and Brigitte Lacombe.  

In 2010 he started his solo career as a freelance photographer and videographer in New York City, working for clients and publications including The New York Times, Italian Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Colombian Government Trade Commission, McCall’s Patterns, Henry Winston, White House Black Market, Warren Tricomi, Anne Bowen, Alinari, Tikvah Fund, and Maserati USA.

In 2010-11-12 he traveled to Georgia and lived at the Phoka Monastery. The photos and article were published in The New York Times and were part of an exhibit in Italy. In 2010, sponsored by the Colombian Trade Commission, he traveled to the Colombian jungle and lived with the Arhuacos and Kogi Indians of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, these photos were also featured in the New York Times and exhibited in the USA and Italy.

Robert enjoys capturing the great variety of photography styles required in a wedding, from still-lifes, to portraiture, to architectural, to fashion, and more. He also firmly believe that while quality photography is important, the trust and genuine connection between the photographer and couple cannot be overvalued.  

Matt Stryker is a filmmaker and photographer based in Austin, TX who's photographed weddings for the better part of the last 8 years. He loves bringing artful compositions to journalistic observation, trying to be a present while unobtrusive POV on your special day. When he's not behind the camera, he enjoys taking hikes and camping trips with his partner Kyandra and their 2 dogs (where in all honesty he's probably still sneaking shots on his film camera until someone complains). He's aware of the lifespan of a good photo and would love to collaborate in capturing the memories you'll look back on for years to come.

Jennifer is a photographer, foodie, lover of love stories, and hype girl, and she's here to tell your love story. She found photography through a family passion for the arts, and she loves it for its ability to freeze moments in time, to document love in all of its wild and wonderful forms. Looking through the viewfinder, time and time again, to see so many unique and beautiful human faces looking back at her genuinely never gets old. She got her first dslr camera in high school, and immediately fell in love. For years she practiced capturing life with her lens as just a hobby - although she did get a 3 on the AP Art exam - and then as one of many side hustles while she focused on getting her name on a Broadway marquee. But then, covid changed everything. After the city shut down she fell in love with telling love stories because love is one of the few constants in an ever changing world. In 2021, she was trusted to capture her first wedding, and the rest is history.

She is a documentary style wedding photographer, which means that for most of the day she's a fly on the wall, looking for all those candid moments that you'll treasure forever. During portraits she'll be a hands-on director, giving you movement based prompts that keep you focused on each other and result in candid looking, romantic and joyful photos.

After starting a career in wedding videography, Jared quickly discovered a passion for capturing those special moments throughout the entire wedding. I gives me immense joy in not only filming these moments, but being able to witness with my own eyes and see the happiness it brings to couples and their loved ones. Outside of capturing weddings, I enjoy all things film-related such as making my own films, and going to the cinema to watch others. I also love exploring the great outdoors, having spent much of my life growing up in New Zealand.

In capturing both photos and videos, I am particularly drawn to the art of preserving the more intimate moments that define a wedding day. Specifically I focus on capturing close-ups during pivotal moments of the wedding such as the vows, the first kiss, and the first dance to name a few . These shots encapsulate the more heartfelt moments and genuine expressions that make each wedding unique.

Approaching weddings with a keen eye for storytelling, I strive to create a visual narrative that not only documents the event but also reflects the couple's personality and the atmosphere of the day. I believe in the power of visual storytelling to evoke emotions and transport viewers back to the most cherished moments of their special day.

My name is Felicia and I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. My love for the camera began when I was just a little kid. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents growing up and my grandpa was always taking photos and I absolutely loved posing for the camera. Eventually I learned how to use little Kodak cameras and I would take one almost everywhere I went. I was always the friend taking pictures at sleepovers and the cousin making everyone pose for silly photos at the holidays.

In high school I started taking photography more seriously by joining photo journalism and having all of my friends model so I could practice with Canon Rebel my dad got me for my 15th birthday. I ended up enrolling at the Art Institute of San Antonio to get my BFA in photography. I graduated in 2018 and won multiple awards including one for best portfolio in my class.

I am always looking to capture the perfect moment! Some of my favorite photos at weddings have been during moments that were totally unplanned with no time to adjust my setting, shooting and hoping I get just one good shot. It's so worth it when I send the photos to the client and they are shocked by photos they didn't even know I was there capturing.

In addition to weddings and engagements, I absolutely love portraits and fashion photography and will take on all sorts of projects year-round. I also work for the San Antonio Museum of Art capturing events and documenting special exhibitions, new art pieces and galleries. I enjoy working for the museum a lot as it is one of the most relaxing parts of my photography career!

Outside of photography I love painting and crafting, going to markets and shows to support local artists, hiking with my dog Bailey, collecting records, swimming, and cooking for my friends and family!

When I am photographing a wedding I am most interested in telling the story of the entire day through my images. My style is candid and journalistic and I like to photograph things as they happen naturally. I will rarely step in to pose or direct an image and I am always after real emotions, perfectly timed moments, and finding beautiful light. One thing that's even more important to me is making sure my clients feel comfortable around me, so I always make an effort to let them know I am also a friend in addition to being their photographer.

After realizing he had a passion for capturing stories through videography, Evan attended Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, enrolling in the digital video and cinematography program. Since graduation he’s honed his technical and emotional craft on innumerable weddings and short films, with his short films picking up several awards along the way.

Weddings present a unique opportunity for him to capture intense, pure emotions and weave those feelings into a video story, a chance hard to find in narrative film or even other events. His style is more candid, wanting the clients to feel their true feelings without feeling pressured to put on a performance.

When not immortalising weddings, Evan enjoys going to concerts with local bands and sci-fi in all its forms. (His favorite film? Interstellar.)

An Austin local, Jake has been working as a multidiscipline filmmaker/photographer since 2018. Since going to film school at ACC, he has done commercial work with brands like Patron and Sport Clips, and worked on a few features and award winning short films. With lighting and camera skills learned on movie sets, Jake brings a unique style to the weddings he shoots. Outside of work, Jake is an avid rock climber and massive fan of anything fantasy.

Hi, I'm Gracyn! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and have been in the photography industry since 2020, shooting hundreds of my beloved clients since. I wake up every morning thrilled to call this city home and like to spend my free time trying new restaurants with friends, thrifting, exploring the outdoors, or planning my next adventure (whether local or abroad!).I love just about everything about weddings, but I particularly enjoy getting to have a front row seat to true love in all of its forms. Each and every client is so special and unique, and I am genuinely honored to get to tell each story in a way that reflects them in their truest and most authentic form. I pride myself on my expertise of posing and lighting skills, but what I find is most helpful to the people I work with is the emphasis I put on making my clients feel comfortable in front of the lens. Estevan began his career as many videographers do -- capturing the candid moments of his family and friends. A hobby grew to a passion. That passion led him to weddings, and he quickly fell in love with capturing the warmest and most vulnerable emotions and memories of one’s most cherished life milestones. Soon enough, Estevan was filming dozens of weddings a year, taking pride in capturing the authentic and natural moments that beautifully portray the unique essence of each couple. Whether it’s a beautifully intimate backyard gathering or a grand celebration in picturesque venues, he understands that every love story deserves to be told in a way that reflects the couple’s personality, style, and intimate connection they share.

At 15 years old, Dashun rose at 4am to take a 90 minute bus ride five times a week to meet with his photography mentor and learn by his side. A decade and thousands upon thousands of photos later, Dashun brings enormous creativity and energy to every project.

Dashun obsesses over light, loves capturing genuine moments, and truly appreciates the friendships he makes with his couples. When not shooting weddings, he enjoys caring for his house plants, listening to music (you may see a few of his moves on the dance floor), and spending time with his calico cat, Lola.

Originally hailing from the charming town of Abilene, Texas, I've been immersed in the world of wedding cinematography for nearly four years now. There's something truly magical about crafting videos that not only tell a story but also capture the essence of those unforgettable moments. And believe it or not, my journey in filmmaking started way back in middle school when I first got my hands on a little camera phone!

In addition to my love for wedding videography, I've had the pleasure of freelancing on various creative projects, including short films, music videos, and live sessions, all across the beautiful state of Texas. It's been quite the ride, and I've loved every minute of it!

There he made many connections and honed his technical skills, which led to a successful career working often in the music video, commercial, and film world. He draws on the wide breadth of his experience to create his original and cinematic wedding videos.

During the wedding day he is constantly seeking candid, emotional moments, such as separate families coming together, elderly relatives enjoying the company of their grandchildren, or friends reconnecting after a long time apart. Immortalizing these moments with technical skill and a creative eye drives Daniel in each moment. He brings a lot of energy to every event, and tirelessly seeks out the best moments and frames through which to tell his couple's wedding story. Through it all, he loves to remain unobtrusive so that everyone might feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

Hello, my name is Christian and I've been behind the camera for at least 5 years. I studied Digital Film and TV Production at New York Tech and have been working professionally for 5 years now. I started working in the wedding industry for 3 years now and hope to continue to deliver beautiful films. Some of my outside interests are mechanic work, watching movies at the theater, and when the weather is right, a lot of bike rides!

I love to experience visual expressions of art and when it comes to weddings, the ability to capture a couples day, and tell their love story in a singular video motivates me to work hard. That is what interests me to capture mostly video. The retelling of a love story is beautiful and being able to experience whenever you want because it's captured is my bread and butter. I approach weddings from a documentary-ish aspect. The timeline of a wedding and expecting reactions are the foundations of the film but, what makes it truly one of a kind are the small moments that happen in-between. I like to chat with the clients throughout the day whenever I can. It helps them get comfortable when a camera is in front of them.

When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me traveling, watching movies, or hanging out with my German rabbit, Bun. ​During my time studying film, my concentration was in documentary filmmaking. I try to apply my love of the documentary style to my weddings, by placing emphasis on candid and emotional moments. Each couple is so special, and I thrive in capturing that unique partnership and energy between them. I firmly believe you can take inspiration from Pinterest and others' wedding photos, but at the end of the day, it's so fun to see what comes naturally to each couple and being able to capture it forever. That being said, I'm here to guide with posing and it's always my goal to make sure you look and feel your best!

My main priority with capturing a wedding is making sure I have successfully and artfully recorded the moods, emotions, and energy of the day. From a rainy wedding day with lots of happy tears to a summer wedding with lots of dancing, each wedding day is so vastly different and beautiful every time.

That being said, I would describe my photography style as photojournalistic. When it comes to interacting with clients, I know most people aren't comfortable with being in front of a big, scary lens. I'm a huge fan of giving prompts to my couples, with the occasional posture or posing correction so that they're looking their best while still staying true to what feels comfortable for them. Even though I arrive to a wedding as a stranger and a vendor, it's my goal to leave that wedding as something like a friend.

I split my time between these two homes and use whatever is left to travel the world! When not traveling or working, I love to hang out with friends, snowboard, and try new restaurants in the city, and plan my next travel adventure!  I got my bachelors in Advertising at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and started my photography journey there capturing grad photos for college seniors. It was there that I developed my passion for people and capturing the milestones for them that they'll be able to look back on forever!

My biggest goal of the day is to capture your wedding in the most authentic way possible. Adam founded Double Knot Pictures in 2012 after graduating from the Radio-Television-Film program at the University of Texas at Austin.

After over ten years, 200+ weddings, and numerous accolades, he’s developed a style that centers candid, authentic moments captured with a heightened aesthetic that’s still grounded in the reality of the moment. Despite years of capturing weddings, the thrill of the search for new ways to capture important moments never diminishes, and he is honored to spend time with couples on their wedding time. While most of his time is now spent training other photographers, he still works with a few select couples each year.

When not filming weddings, he pursues writing and directing narrative film and enjoys frequenting New York’s many museums for inspiration.

Aaron shot Double Knot Picture's very first wedding back in 2013, and he's been creating some of our finest videos ever since. He and the owner, Adam, met in cinematography class at the Univeristy of Texas at Austin, and they've collaborated across a range of narrative films, editorial, commercial, fashion, portraiture, and much more.

A consumnate practicitioner, Aaron uses the latest camera and lens technology paired with a unique eye for framing and detail to create his candid and beautiful wedding films. He brings his experience with hundreds of weddings to each event, yet never stops seeking new frames and novel ways to tell the story. When filming, he uses a kind, low-key approach so as to capture the most genuine moments and interactions without interference, creating a vital record of real emotions captured with an eye for style.

Outside of weddings, Aaron is currently earning a degree in visual effects with a specialty in digital environments, and, more importantly, patronizing Austin's many craft breweries.

Anthony is passionate about crafting visual narratives that resonate and endure. His journey began with a solid foundation, a degree in Communications and Media Production, which has been instrumental in honing his skills to expertly capture life's most cherished moments.

With over eight years of experience, her work reflects both versatility and artistry.

A passionate traveler, Charlene is also a certified yoga instructor and sound facilitator, adding a mindful depth to her creative practice. Living as a full-time nomad with her boyfriend and dog, she balances her love for outdoor activities—from snowboarding to camping and sports—with her home bases in Denver, CO, and Dallas, TX.
