Can we explain important readings or family traditions before filming?

Yes. Share the sequence, context, and any important audio details with your filmmaker and the studio. We can help plan the coverage and discuss which edit options suit the events you want to revisit.

Who edits our photos and films?

The Double Knot studio manages editing and final delivery, with your selected photographer or videographer capturing the wedding. Share your preferences and priorities with us during planning so they can inform both coverage and the finished work. You can come to the studio with questions throughout the editing process.

Can I choose the music for my highlight reel?

Yes. You can share your music preferences and select a track for your highlight reel. We have a licensed music library and can help you find something that feels right for your story. If you want to share your film online, choose music cleared for that use; a favorite commercial song is not automatically licensed for your wedding film.

What is a Full Day Documentary Edit?

It is a longer edit that lets you revisit the events we captured, such as your ceremony, speeches, and dances, in more detail. A highlight reel is a shorter, curated telling of the day. The documentary edit's scope follows your booked coverage and the events captured, and it is included when selected in your package.

What does dedicated concierge studio support include?

Adam and the Double Knot studio team are here from your first questions through your finished photos and films. We help with package creation, timeline development, shot lists, family photo groupings, and coordinating your photo and video team. We also handle booking questions, plan changes, editing, and delivery. If you need help figuring something out, reach out; you do not have to manage every detail alone.

Does checking availability or booking a meeting hold our date?

No. Your signed agreement and first payment reserve your booking. Availability can change while you are browsing or scheduling meetings, so it helps to start once you know your wedding date and location. If your wedding is coming up soon, check your date and we can help you explore the available options.

What if our photographer or videographer has an emergency?

The studio handles backup coordination and will talk with you about replacement coverage if your artist has an emergency. Our standard agreement also provides that, if Double Knot must terminate for a reasonable cause such as an accident or ill health, you can choose a replacement photographer or videographer or a full refund. Your signed agreement contains the terms that apply to your booking.
